I enjoyed unloading boxes off of trucks and I liked working with the other employees.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have worked there a bit longer, but I had to quit due to college.
Advice
One piece of advice I would share about this experience is that some jobs are more beneficial to you even though they may pay a bit less.

What I liked
I absolutely loved the team I was working for. They were very experienced and knowledgeable in Operations Management. I learned a lot from them and they wanted me to be engaged in what was going on.
What I wish was different
I wish there were more networking events for the interns. The first group did not have a chance to interact with the second group which started later.
Advice
Ask questions. If you have no clue what your manager is talking about or what an acronym stands for, ask. You are there to learn and gain as much insight as you possibly can and they are there to help you learn.

I liked getting familiar with the cameras again, and making sure we catching shoplifters.

I wish that Sears was not closing down i really enjoy my job and now I have to find a new place to work in the summer time.
Advice
To be able to do this job you have to be fast and be willing to chase after shoplifters and stay focused when watching the cameras.

Sometimes the supervisor's weren't available, so I had to handle situations myself. Difficult to do, especially in the early learning stages.
Advice
Be prepared to be in a very fast-paced work environment. If you aren't, then this job will run you over.

Fast paced environment due to the fact that the store was closing. I gained true experience working in a high stress environment.

There was no real training, which was not a bad thing but because of this there were times where I was slow to finish a task because I had to in essence teach myself.
Advice
Patience was what allowed me to be successful specifically with customers who were irate (there were a lot) In addition to that even the "smallest" of jobs can teach you a lot about your work ethic and help you improve as a person.
